I like aviators but often find them overwhelming. Rocky feels more proportionate on me. The frame is neat, the lenses look good, and I can wear them for ages without thinking about them.
The narrower Rocky shape is what sold me. In person it has a cleaner look than my old aviators, and the little nose pads have been comfortable through an afternoon out. Would choose these again.
I like the narrower aviator shape, and they feel secure without much pressure. I sometimes notice the nose pads after several hours, so not quite a five for me, but I’m pleased overall.
most aviators look huge on me. rocky is much closer to what i wanted. they sit nicely, and i don’t spend the whole time adjusting them. very happy.
Rocky looks tidy and the lenses are pleasant to look through. On me the narrower shape feels a little cramped at the sides after a while. Fine for short outings; I may need a different size for longer wear.
